The design and development of Coconut Surveillance has been guided by the leadership and expertise of the Zanzibar Malaria Elimination Program (ZAMEP). ZAMEP's vision is a Zanzibar free of malaria.
Coconut Surveillance has been designed and developed by RTI International in collaboration with the US President's Malaria Initiative, the Zanzibar Malaria Elimination Program, and other partners. RTI provided support for the initial development of the Coconut mobile software platform, continued software enhancement, and development of Coconut Surveillance 2.0.
